The Experience
Imagine
an evening of enjoyable classical music, delectable hors-d'oeuvres,
a complement of wine, and pleasant social interaction in a private
home, all without the need to travel downtown? Enticing, isn't it?
That was the vision that led Karen and Dale Terbeek to conceive
of "Music at Saddle Rock". Originally designed as an experience
for the Saddle Rock community, the broad interest that ensued led
to the belief that such an experience should be made available through
a select number of concerts to all residents of the Front Range.
The
Musicians
It starts, of course, with the music. And talented musicians of
national and international acclaim. Musicians such as Annamaria
Karacson who completed violin studies in Budapest at the Franz Liszt
Academy and who has served as concertmaster for orchestras across
Europe and America.
And pianist Larry Graham who was the top-ranking American in two
international competitions - the grueling and prestigious Queen
Elisabeth Concours in Brussels (1975) and the Rubinstein Competition
in Tel-Aviv (1977).
Musicians like Barbara Hamilton-Primus who has played viola with
the New York Philharmonic and has toured extensively across Europe
and South America. And Pamela Eldridge, principal harp for the Colorado
Ballet and Ft. Collins Symphony, who has also performed with the
Moscow Ballet touring company.
Having the chance to experience musicians like this in an intimate
setting is an opportunity you won't want to miss!
Our
Mission
To
provide a quality classical music experience in an intimate setting.
